Skip the Plastic Straw 2nd Annual Global Cleanup Challenge!

This month (September) is Coastal Cleanup Month and we’re encouraging everyone to get involved to clean your nearby beaches, waterways or just around your neighborhood or park – every little bit helps!

We have partnered with Litterati again this year to organize Skip the Plastic Straw 2nd Annual Global Cleanup Challenge, from September 1-30, 2021.

Here's how to join:

✅ Click Challenges and key in the code SKIPSTRAW to join our challenge

✅ Take a photo of your first piece of trash picked to activate your participation!

Whether you are joining an organized cleanup or doing it solo or with your own family in your neighborhood, please make sure to snap photos of the litter you pick on the litterati app! Challenge RESULTS

We are proud to announce that in just one month, we had a total of 86 participants who picked up and documented a total of 7,543 pieces of trash! Thanks to the top contributors and to the 86 participants from all over the world who joined (like the USA, Netherlands, Brazil, South Korea, Mexico, India, Belgium, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Thailand and even Indonesia!), we blew by our goal of 5,000 pieces of trash. We are also super thankful and honored for the partnership with Litterati during this challenge!
