More than 5,000 cans and bottles recycled!

Another successful Recycling for Nature project in the books! We raised $360 from recycling 5,063 bottles and cans in just three months (31 November 2023 to 31 January 2024). That's 2,568 of cans (107lb) and 2,495 plastic bottles (139lb) prevented from entering our landfills. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped us collect recyclables, we are so happy to involve new and more youth to participate in recycling. All proceeds were donated to the Environmental Nature Center (ENC) in Newport Beach to help with their work in educating and connecting youth with the wonders of nature!  Thank you Mrs. Schwartz and Mrs. Whalen too for being so supportive of this initiative and helping to promote it to families at ENC!
